On the Road to Professional Practitioner Studies at UTSLA
“A practitioner is not merely a body of knowledge but rather a state of consciousness that realizes oneness with the infinite. Dedicated to first
demonstrating the New Thought Ancient Wisdom principles within their own life, a practitioner then serves as a spiritually therapeutic agent of the Spirit for the upliftment of every man, woman and child who requests healing of body, mind and spirit.”
Michael Bernard Beckwith
Thank you for your interest in Professional Practitioner Studies. Practitioners are the healing arm of the Agape International Spiritual Center. We prayerfully support the well-being of our spiritual community and actively serve in all of the ministries and Agape community life. We are a service order dedicated to anchoring a consciousness of Truth and Wholeness in the Agape community and the world at large. Being an Agape Practitioner is a way of life, a dedication to “anchoring the awareness of our essential perfection and oneness with the I Am Presence of the Self…”
The journey toward professional licensing as an Agape Spiritual Practitioner begins with these steps:
Step 1: Agape Community: Active participants in the Agape community are invited to apply for Professional Practitioner Studies after meeting the following prerequisites:
Step 2: Course work: “The preparation of Professional Practitioners is a consciousness building process that includes specific studies that apply to and prepare the student for advanced participation in spiritual community.” Only classes completed since October of 2006 are valid to fulfill pre-requisites.

Following successful completion of the above listed classes, applicants are eligible for the final class to be taken before entering Practitioner Studies:
   ·  Professional Practitioner Studies Preparation – there is no charge for this class.

All required classes must be successfully completed and paid for in full prior to making application.
Step 3: Recommendations: Practitioner Sessions: Being an Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner is a calling and a lifelong commitment. The scope of this course of study is greater than any of the classes you have previously taken. Because this journey leads to a professional license and a position of sacred trust, it is important to begin working with an Agape Licensed Practitioner on a regular basis prior to and during your studies. The purpose of this is to experience firsthand the dynamic of spiritual counseling, to understand the work we do and to deepen your own consciousness. Applications must be accompanied by a confidential recommendation in writing from an Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner with whom you have an ongoing relationship, one with whom you have had at least three complete sessions, as well as a recommendation from one of your facilitators in Self-Awareness or Mysticism.

Step 4:
Professional Practitioner Studies Preview Sessions:  These two sessions are designed to give you an overview of the Professional Practitioner Studies program, clarity about all that is necessary for successful completion and a greater understanding of the Practitioner consciousness. Please reserve your space by downloading the Practitioner Preview Reservation form at the bottom of this page and returning it to Charlotte Ciraulo, ALSP, Director of Practitioner Studies at Agape University extension 1415 or via email at
Practitioner Preview Sessions are held at Agape on:
     Saturday, July 14, 2012       10:00am – 12:00 Noon
     Saturday, July 21, 2012       10:00am – 12:00 Noon

Step 5:
Set a clear intention: Professional Practitioner Studies is a professional program for individuals who are clear that they sincerely desire to be an Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner dedicated to a life of service and personal spiritual practice. It is not designed for individuals whose sole desire is to continue their personal spiritual growth and development. Agape University provides a full array of classes designed for lifelong learning, spiritual growth and development. Being an Agape Licensed Practitioner is a calling to an ecclesiastical office.

Attendance at both sessions is required and reservations are necessary.

Step 6: The Application Process! After you have satisfied steps 1-5, you are ready to apply for Practitioner Studies – I.* Applications are distributed after individual interviews in the Professional Practitioner Preparation Class.
