Eisha Mason is Associate Regional Director of the American Friends Service Committee in the Pacific Southwest. Eisha is an activist, speaker, author and teacher of nonviolence. For 20 years, she has developed, directed and facilitated programs that empower individuals to harness the power of “soulforce" for personal transformation, social justice and peacemaking. Former executive director of Common Peace and co-founder of Soulforce Trainings, Eisha is a contributor to How to Stop the Next War Now, co-author of 64 Ways to Practice Nonviolence and host of The Morning Review on KPFK (90.7FM).
In her own spiritual community, the Agape International Spiritual Center, she served as founder of their community outreach ministries for 17 years and served as adjunct faculty in their school of ministry. As a spiritual practitioner at Agape, she has taught classes and worked in private practice for 21 years.
