Parking Volunteer Scheduling
The most important issue to consider before volunteering with the Parking Ministry is the Service one would like to attend. All volunteers begin as congregants and one’s love for Agape is developed through attending service regularly.
All parking volunteers are encouraged to attend service, and seats can be reserved for a volunteer upon request. Other benefits include service tape vouchers that can be redeemed for a tape of the service or that act as a coupon for service CDs.
Wednesday Evening
Meditation: 6:45pm Service : 7:15pm
Shift Wed—3 Volunteer Positions; Arrive @ 4:30pm
Volunteering from 4:40pm to 7:40pm [3 hrs]
Sunday Early Morning
Meditation: 6:25am Service : 7:00am
Shift 1—2 Volunteer Positions; Arrive @ 5:50am
Volunteering from 6:00am to 7:30am [1.5 hrs]
Shift 2—4 Volunteer Positions; Arrive @ 7:50am
Volunteering from 8:00am to 9:30am [1.5 hrs]
Sunday Mid Morning
Meditation: 8:30am Service : 9:00am
Shift 3—6 Volunteer Positions; Arrive @ 9:50am
Volunteering from 10:00am to 11:30am [1.5 hrs]
Sunday Mid Day
Meditation: 11:00am Service : 11:30am
Shift 4—2 Volunteer Positions Arrive @ 11:20am
Volunteering from 11:30am to 1:00pm [1.5 hrs]
Congregants seeking to join the parking ministry are encouraged to volunteer for two Sunday services or two Wednesday services per month for a total of 6 hours of service per volunteer.
All parking volunteers are provided with a map of Agape International Spiritual Center denoting parking volunteer positioning/placement in addition to which parking lots are available. Safety vests are provided to volunteers; walkie-talkies are used for communication throughout service and flashlights are available on Wed evenings.
